I have a Coralview retro kit with dual 150mh(14k) and dual 96w act and a T-5 Nova Extreme fixture(3-54w,10k and 3-54w,420 act)...which would be better to use on that short of a tank....space is a premium above the tank.
The tank will house mainly zoas and a few sps

I would say the Nova Extreme, since it is such a short tank, the MH might be a little over kill. IMO
Not to mention to cost savings.   You already running 3-250's on the display and not sure what you are going to run on the 125.
