    What is this that is circled in your picture I have a colony of them just like that that came with my set up and I do not know what they are

    That is one of the corals in the grow out “contest”. It’s called frosted cherry blossom acan.

    What kind of lights and par are you growing it under? The growth is so much better than mine but I have crazy color. Wonder what the difference is….

    Reef Breeder Photons. They were near the top getting 500-600 PAR but are probably around 400 in their new location (a few inches lower in the tank) when I moved them in May. Color hasn't changed at this point that I can discern. What does your OP (and yours @ruggerkc@ruggerkc) from the last grow out look like - just wondering for comparison.

    For reference here is a side & top down view of my OP. The top down is more true to eye than the side view (although the wild thing is about the same).

    My OP died the day I was going to cut a frag for someone who lost theirs in the grow out. Getting another piece shortly. Is anyone else’s getting the orange and purple that mine is getting? Mine looks pretty close to the eye when viewed through orange glasses. That’s how the pic was taken too. IPhone through orange glasses.
