For just a dinner hangout these are the only 2 places I know have reef tanks, would be nice to know of others.

Good to know guys and noted. I remember the butcher block from last years tank tour. It also doesn't have to be a place with a fish tank either but would be a plus.

 

Is there a date or location planned for the March meeting?

 

We don't have a date for it yet and actually wont be doing the diy coral viewer I dont think. I was thinking we could have a meeting at a @gburkart's place and maybe assist him in his build or maybe help him drill his tank if it would work for him. I am also all ears for things other would like to do or cover as well.

lol,right.my build is on hold until i get a side job to buy the materials for the stand.but when i get stuff going,we could do a drilling/plumbing meeting no prob.

 

I think for March we will have a get together at my house. I will have something for one of my tank projects that we can do plus a combined cookout. Sound good to everyone @Region: Cedar Rapids & Iowa City

 

Works for me! I'm busy on the 12th and 13th but I'm free the other weekends. Not sure what weekend we were planning

 

I'm also gone that weekend. I'm thinking that next weekend of the 19th & 20th or the next weekend of the 26th & 27th.

 

Since not much has been said on dates... I think we will set it for March 26th. People can start coming over at 12 and leave whenever they want. I will provide food and drink. If people want to bring some kind of side or dessert that would be awesome. We can hang out and talk tanks and I will try to have some kind of easy project we can accomplish and maybe get thoughts on some future ones.
