That's only roughly 110# of rock. It filled up real good. Roughly 200#in sump.
Sand goes in today. I will take more pics later.

How many wonderful bags of sand did that take?

Good. I had to switch halide bulbs. I was going to run XM 10K but they were just WAY too much. Par readings of 1100 to around 700 even with lights 18 inches above sand bed lol.
I am going with either hamilton 14k or 10k. I haven't decided yet. Radius are just too blue for my taste.
Frags will be coming out of QT today or tomorrow. So I will have a few pics soon.
I added the fish and cleanup crew last week. I am starting to get some of the new tank algae but it's not too bad.
My fish really like the extra swimming room. And I am really anxious to get some Acros growing in this tank. I am sick of looking at bare rocks lol.
I should be getting the calcium reactor hooked up in the next few weeks. I finally collected all the parts to get it going.

You didn't want to fry your rocks with the XM's?! lol Just an FYI, the fish do like the extra room...however, in a year or two, they will think the tank is too small! Then you will "have to" start all over again with a bigger tank! :roflmao: Pics will be nice especially with corals in it! I'll be waiting for the pics!;)

LOL. Yes those things would fry every thing.
I would love to have a bigger tank but its the biggest tank I can have in my living room. I would love a 400-500 gallon tank.
Pics coming soon. I haven't moved corals yet. Hopefully today.

Calcium reactor is hooked up. I am just running water through it for now. I will start up the co2 in a couple days.
First round of rags are in the display. Some I acquires at SpringFest and some from Jason Fox Corals.

    Ok. I am a slacker. I haven't updated in a while.
I got my Hamilton 10k halides bulbs in and bought some blue reef brite led strips. Now I have the color combination I want.

I have almost fully stocked my tank with coral. All sps. I still have to go visit a couple friends to pickup some frags I want but I would say I am about 95% done.

Fish.... I am not having good luck with fish. I am only half way done stocking. But I need to let it be for several months before trying again.

Calcium reactor. I just got done finishing setup. Now I will shut down my 2 Part doser and get my CaRx dialed in.
I had to buy a cleanup crew so my tank looks like **** atm. New tank algae. But it's getting better.
My alkalinity calcium and magnesium have been running rock solid for over a couple months and the frags I have are growing over the plugs. So far I am pretty happy where the tank is at.

Almost have the calcium reactor tuned in. I am taking the 2 part dosers off tonight. Hopefully no alkalinity swings.
I will try to get some coral pics posted in next few days.
