135g Fowler build

    Well I got me 135g for my fowlr build. I will post pics as the build progressives. A couple things
    I'm looking for suggestions for lighting the tank.
    Also I thouht about selling my lifereef CLF1 with refugium and going back to the wet dry filter. Any thoughts or suggestions

    Nice thing about FOWLR is that you don't need crazy lights.


    I love saving some cash where I can, so I got some DIY kits for my 120 and they look great.



    I went with two of the 24 LED kits from AquaStyle Online.

    As for wet/dry, shudder..... No thanks. I did a quick search of the CLF1 and it seems pretty nice. What don't you like about it?

    Well I had my wet dry on a fowlr tank before going to the lifereef on my reef setup and I felt that the wet dry would do a better job with filtering my tank. Plus the refugium isn't really needed on a fowlr either. My life reef is awsome and the skimmer is one of the best I've ever seen.

    I use a regular sump with on of turbos algae scrubber and it does amazing for FOWLR 240 gallon.

    I've heard of the algae scrubber before never used one. I think I am going to order a ADHI wet dry very nice sump. Should be able to sell the life reef clf1.
