So, I have had this 135 in my basement for over 8 months now. Had some problems here and there trying to get a stable tank. So, I gutted the whole thing and started over. New rock, substrate, new filtration, added a closed loop and removed lousy powerheads. So far, things have been going well. Tank has been up a few months now. So, here is a full tank picture. I am planning on an SPS dominant reef tank. With a few LPS and a few zoas. I am vacillating between putting an anemone in the tank for my clownfish. Not sure I want to risk it but. It is one of my wife's favorites. Hence the indecision. (Any recommendations from experts. Would like to do a nice rose bubble tip or something similar with alot of color. Just don't want it wandering around killing all my corals).

    Awesome tank.

I have a RTBA in my 29 cube and it has stayed exactly on the same rock that it was on when I put it in. You have a enough open space that you could let it settle into a spot that it is happy and then place corals a safe distance away without much work.

Go with a frovspawn or hammer if you are concerned about an anemone. You get the benefits without the mobility a nem brings to the table...

I might have to just go that route. I have a bta in both my 55 gal and my 20 gal. I have not had any real problems but I am a bit worried for some reason about putting one in the 135. The wife loves the hosting they do and she likes their pretty colors. But, maybe I can get a nice frogspawn instead. Thanks for the idea Dave!

I wouldn't worry about it once it gets settled in it should be fine. I have a RBTA the size of my head in my150gal and one a bit smaller that split off of it. Its happy as can be. In my 125 I have an offspring from the 150 anem in it that hasn't moved since I put him in there. I also have 2 Rainbow bubble tip in the 125. The original split and they both stay in the same spot and are happy as can be. My pair of maroons travel between all 3 and also maintain their host Sebae anemone.
