Are you sure it is a pavona and not a psamocora? The growth structure seems to more resemble a psammocora than a pavona to me?

kalk paste would be a sure bet but you have to be careful not to have collateral damage in the neighborhood which sounds like it might be an issue...
I was suggesting a larger sump vs. an additional tank. I can drill it for you if you go that route.
