I agree when my tank was dirty (no water changes) it grew like mad. 1 month ago i took out the colony to let it die. It was infested with hair algae.

I think every other bulb XM ships is a differnt "K" , i know 2 out of 3 10,000k bulbs.i got are white the other one is yellow..
