A eshopps would be what I'd like. Nothing homemade. I don't want to use a suction cup one.

How thick is your glass? Just FYI eshopps does not hold on 1/2" glass.

They are super easy to make out of 1/4 inch acrylic. Regal plastics sells scrap pieces near Waterloo, they also have Weldon. I used epoxy coated magnets from amazon.

If you wanted the brand name ones, you can probably just buy a couple stronger neodynium magnets to hold through the thick glass.

It's acrylic atleast 1/2 inch. Is acrylic easier to hold a magnet?

1/2" is pretty thick Justin. You will want strong magnets.

A a couple pairs of neodynium magnets rated at about 20 pounds a piece should do it.

Where do you find the rating on magnets? I've been looking.... What are the dimensions of your magnets?

This site has lots of magnets with the pull strengths listed in the search page.

I have 3/4 inch by 1/8 inch epoxy coated magnets that I purchased off of amazon. My acrylic is 3/8 inch and they hold well enough, but the magnets are somewhat undersized, if I was to do it again, I would go bigger. I think the pull strength on mine are 13 pounds.
