Wii Active?

Anyone have this?   I used to do the original one all the time and I just picked up the new one hoping it would renew my interest.   Man, if you are out of shape (which I definitely am) that think will kick your butt!

Hmm...never tried it. I tried Wii Fit and the kids still play it from time to time. I've gone to doing weight training at the gym and a cardio program called Couch to 5K. Let me know what you think about it...may have to pick it up.

I never like the original Wii Fit because you spent more time navigating between the excersizes than doing them. I heard that "Wii Fit Plus" fixes this but I'm gonna stick with active.

 

Does playing super mario galaxy 2 count? VBG. i am never 'inactive" when playing that game.....

 

Funny you brought this up. My wife and I are actually starting Wii Active tomorrow. I def prefer Active over Fit or Fit plus, it kicks your butt!
Is active 2.0 out already?

 

I don't know if it's Active 2.0 or not, but it's a "More Excersizes" expansion. I picked it up at Wal-Mart yesterday for $20. It has a "6 week" program rather than the 30 day program of active. All of the excersizes (so far at least) are different. I did the first workout this afternoon and I'm definitely feeling it now...

Ahhh ok, I'm gonna have to check that out. Active 2.0 looks like its gonna be pretty cool and is due out 3rd quarter of this year.
