Who's going to MACNA?

Is anyone else going to MACNA this year? We missed last year due to a nephew's wedding but it seems there was quite a GIRS contingent at MACNA 2014 in Denver.

Deanna and I are leaving for San Diego on Wednesday - is anyone familiar with SD? Looking for suggestions on our one open day of Thursday to see some of the local sights. Hope to run into some of you there!

We went to MACNA in DC last year for a 1 day road trip. We were still living in Va Beach at that time. It was a great experience. If you have kids, they did a great job incorporating activities for kids. My 2 girls (6 and 8) loved it . Anyway, about San Diego. When I was stationed out there in the Navy, you could take a guided tour of the Navy base on a tug boat. They explain each type of ship as you pass it and what its mission/job is during Navy operations. Pretty cool if you have never been up close to Navy ships. I did it with my parents when they came to visit and they LOVED it! If I remember correctly, you get on in the down town area (its been 15 years ago). You could also see if the Padres have a home game?
I wish we were going again! Maybe next year

We went out there last year on vacation. I visited Aquasd and Ship wreck cove corals. Both are definitely a must stop.
We also toured an Air craft carrier downtown. It was awesome. And to the beach in Ocean Beach. Cool place. Lots going on there.
