Where to buy glass

I'm looking for a 36"x36" piece of glass that's 1/2" thick to replace a bottom piece of glass in a aquarium. I live in Iowa City. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good local or online store?

Marv's Glass in Iowa City might. But Weber paint & Glass in Marion does and Allied Glass in Cedar Rapids does. They both will have to order it. Do you want it Tempered?

I'll bet Safelite Auto Glass has it in stock-----They do in the Waterloo store, theres a store in CR.

 

I tried to price out some glass for some baffles once and I couldn't believe how much they wanted...it was crazy expensive...and a 36" x 36" piece of 1/2" untempered is probably not going to be any exception. You may do better finding a used tank with the same dimensions.

Got my 36x36 piece of glass for $81 dollars. 1/2" thick glass is $9 per square foot. Thanks for the good advise.
