    ^^+1 definitely sponge. We have quite a few just like that in one of our tanks.

    That's good to know. Thanks! But next question is how do we get rid of it?

    Add a large angel and it will be gone in 24 hours :) Seriously though, no need to get rid of it - beneficial filter feeder - unless you don't like the looks then just pull it out (and give it to someone who has large angels!)

    You could also pull the hole coral with it out of your tank for little while the air should also kill it sponge doesn't like air
