I am interested in getting some more of the kits from Aquarium Water Test. Anyone else? I would be in for 4.

Yes. I'd probably get 3 tests.

Anyone else? I love this service if you have not tried it.. I tested my water with my test kits then immediately bottled some up and sent it. When I received the results I was able to compare the readings to my own test kits from the same time period

And how were the readings compared to your test kits?

Phosphates was pretty close.. I use the Phospurous Hana Colorimeter..

Calcium they showed a little lower than what I showed. But with the red sea titration I may have gone a couple drops over..

Alkalinity with my red sea was dead on..

Nitrates, PH, Ammonia, Nitrite, I use API were all correct..

I had not used my potasium test kit yet but they said it was low which I would probably agree with due to some of the color.. So I will be testing that.

They say potassium is low on everyones test. It is one of the elements that is lacking in salt mixes, yet gets used quite a bit.

That's what I did as well and it came out pretty close to what I had tested - certainly within margin of hobbyist test kit error. Also low in potassium.

It would be fun to make a standard solution of potassium and have them test it to see if most peoples tanks are really low or their test procedure isn't the best.
