Currently feeding my RO into a 30 gallon trash can but want to store more. Was wondering what others were using for water storage for top off and changes?

I use a 35g poly container, a horizontal one with the screw top lid. Norpro I think, or one like it

We have a 100 gallon water tank for RO and a 75 gallon one for salt water.

Vertical poly tanks. I have a 165 for salt and a 105 for ro. If you're planning on doing automatic water changes, I would go big.

Yes, this. The ones I got weren't a normally stocked item, but they ordered them in for delivery with their next shipment. Didn't cost me any shipping charges.

Currently using a 44 gal Brute for RO and mix in a 30 gal Brute. Works well unless I need a lot of water ASAP.

Like the vertical storage tanks idea as it looks more compact and takes up less space. Probably less evaporation loss too. No Theisen's close but might check TSC or Mills Fleet Farm.

@Buku@Buku. Do you have to clean those tanks periodically?

I got the 165 at the Theisens in Ames.

I havent cleaned them in the past. Certain salts will leave a build up over time though. I know reef crystal is horrible for that.

+1 on reef crystals. I've had times where I made up a mix intending to use it within a couple of hours but then been delayed for a day or so. Usually end up with brown precipitate on the bottom of the mixing tub.

I use two 65 gallon vertical water storage containers. One for salt and one for rodi . You can have Theisens order them in for you at the store.

Aussie I think they are a little over a hundred each at theisens. They can also get smaller ones as well.

I checked some prices online and found the similar vertical tanks at Theisen's and Mill Fleet. Theisen's was considerable less expensive. Price was around $130.
