I have had a Rectangular Trigger for about a month. It has been acting noemal and happy up until yesterday. It has started swimming back and forth and up and down fast, and will not relax and swim around like he used to. I feed him frozen trigger food every 3 days,  spectrum 2 once a day and mysis once a day. He eats and is breathing normally. I am concerened because I had a Bursa that started acting this way and finally jumped out of the tank. Is this normal, am I doing something wrong??? I am about to give up on Triggers. Salt is 1.024, temp 78.2 amo., trates 0, trites .5 PH 7.8. There is a med yellow tang 2 false percs, butterfly, 3 small damsels, scooter, snowflake eel, variuous crabs, snails, brittle star, sps, lps, nem. Every one else is just fine. May try and put a video up if anyone thinks it will help.

Stray current in the tank? Do you have a grounding probe?

I've had stray current in my tank. Never had it bother the fish before. Gives me a little tingly feeling though. Well a six foot tank should be plenty of length for that fish I would assume. Your fish definitely seems stressed, I'm just not sure what is causing it.

Update. I noticed he wa only going up and down at 1 end against the glass so I taped 2 pieces of paper to the outside and VOILA he has stopped, I took the paper down to see what happened and he went right back to it started going up and down again, so I am going to put a blue backing on that end. Dont know if it was his reflection or what?????? But I feel alot better now. He will still occasionally dart back and forth for a few mins. but that is fine.
