Well it seems I have gotten some of that dreaded I word in my tank. Ich spots on my royal gramma. I only have 3 fish in the display, so hospital wouldn't be too bad, if I was there to do it. As it sits, I have to try to walk my wife through cupramine for 6 weeks while the bug dies out in my dt. Just need to find a cheap tank that can hold a mystery rabbit, small green chromis, and a royal gramma

Truthfully don't panic. Just keep an eye on everything. Feed garlic foods and make sure they keep eating. Keep stress to a minimum . Moving them in my opinion only stresses them out more.
The fish will always have The I word and stress will bring it out and going thru the cycle stress free will help them build a tolerance to it next time they stress out.

The worst thing that most people do about ick is over-react and make it worse.

I lost my royal gramma today, so if I am going to hospital tank, now is the time, being that I only have 2 fish left. Let the display go with my inverts and let the parasite run its course. I knew I was rushing it with a fish, but it was stressing so hard (laying on its side while drip aclimating, gasping, and floating by the bubbles) I put him in too soon, and now I pay for it.
