The 20 long resurrected

So i set the tank back up and got it full if rock. Picked up a rock that had a ton of brown buttons on it. It came with some other live rock. Hope in makes it through the cycle. We shall see.

 

Lighting is a 150w. Sunpod. Ac 70 filter and a small powerhead. Trying to decide to just stick with this and sell the 75 cube or set up both... haha

 

Nice, that is a good lookin' little tank! How much water do you need for top off on a smaller tank like that every week?

 

I really like that. Id sell the big tank and fill that with coral.

 

Its been up 5 days and needs about a gallon now. So maybe 1.5-2 a week.

Diatoms are starting to show up. Gonna go get some snails this weekend!

Got 5 red legged hermits and 5 asteria (sp) snails. Snails are kickin but on the rocks. Not so much on sand surface. Hermits are grazing. Hopefully they leave my polyps and zoas alone. Theve been picking the crevasses around them. Lots of old gunk for them to feast on. Water change tomorrow and ill clean the sand surface while im pulling old water. Fun times!
