Tank Tour!!

October 16th 12:00 P.M. will be the beginning of the Des Moines area tank tour.
This is a tentative schedule because things will always come up.

After Central Campus Joe has offered to show his tank and we have also discussed going out to eat.  Would be a good time to kick back and relax for everyone.  This is also a good time for everyone to get to know each other better!

 

I will show and attend!

As far as dates, the 25th is coming quickly and people might already have plans. Can we shoot for a date in October? How about Saturday, October 2nd?

I would come. I can't show my tank cause it just got started but I will attend

 

I would be interested in attending...would participate too but suspect I'm further out of the metro than anyone would want to go (28 miles south of west mixmaster)...The weekends of September 25 and October 2 don't work for me but the rest of October looks good at this point.

I'd join for the tour but can't let anyone in to see my tank.
If you did it after the 23rd weekend it'd be better for me, I've got to rebuild a drive and have a skid that weekend to repair it.

 

Unless more people have a problem with it, I think we should try to do this on Sat October 2nd. We could however wait until the 9th but I would prefer not.

 

Both dates work for me.

 

I'd need to know the times, but I'm pretty sure I could come on the 2nd.

 

We need more people to show their tanks!!

 

Can I please get a confirmed list of people that want to show tanks and those that just want to attend? I can move this to the weekend of the 16th if that works better. I will be out of town for work the other two weekends of October.

I am open on the 16th if we need to move it out further. Can one of the trustees send out an email to the DSM group about the tour? I suspect not a lot of people check this forum regularly.

 

I am waiting to talk to Central Campus to see if they would like to be part of the tank tour. I think it would make an awesome tour if they would be part of it as well!!

 

that would be cool ill even pickup some eggcrate to donate.

 

Just gave me an idea. How about we setup a tank tour with them and they could charge admission of a sheet of eggcrate. It is going to a good cause so pretty sure people would not mind.

 

Since its getting to the last minute and I think it would be very cool to have central campus in on the tour, I am going to push this back to October 16th. I hope this works for everyone. If all goes as planned, this should be the best tank tour yet!!
