Tank tour and meeting

Is there going to be anything like this going on anytime soon?  Would like to see some peeps tanks so I can get a idea of what I want to do.
Anybody is welcome to come by here if there is a event like this.  Only problem is there is only one salt tank and is only a 8 gal.  But there is 700 gal plus of fresh water to see.

 

As far as tank tour in the DM area there will be one in the fall i believe and not sure when the next meeing will be i am thinking late august or september. I am sure there are some around that will let you check out their tank even without a tour, i would say you could see mine but ya i'm over an hour away

 

The spring tank tour got cancelled due to schedule conflicts. I am sure we will have one in the fall.  Tank tour thread

 

I know this would be outside of the scheduled events for the DSM area but is anyone up for a mid-summer tank tour? Sounds like there is some interest out there and some nice tanks to see! If we don't have enough tanks to see, maybe we can throw in an LFS or 2 for good measure. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I'm in. I want to keep the interest level high in our area. Maybe a tank tour will help inspire us all to get back into our tanks, share new ideas, have fun and meet newer members in the DSM area!

 

I would like to be part as well but I won't be able to do it till fall!?!?

 

Isn't your tank done? I thought you switched everything over already?

It is up and running and ready but the job in the summer limits my availability for any tours, work TONS of hours.

 

I think we can do two. We will just do the fall one a little later.
Lets have others sign up here to be a featured tank on the summer tour.

 

Hey Joel, can you send out a PM to all the DSM members? I think it is a good way to reach members who might not check the site often.

 

Sure can, but lets come up with a date first. What about August 15th?

 

August 15th or the 22nd works for me. I just want to give enough notice to those who work on the weekends to schedule some time off.

 

Will be looking forward to a fall tank tour, wish I could attend/stop in on my tank this time around but still working like CrAzY.

Wherever you are working, business must be good!  It seems like most places cannot find enough work for everyone but you are the opposite.

I work for a local amusement park....  We have been the exception to the rule - I guess there is nothing like now to go have a have a good time with the kids and forget about things.
