What size tank would a 48 long by 30 wide by 48 in tall be?

You can Google dank dimensions and type things in and it gives you answers

I wouldn’t have a 48” tall aquarium. If I had to do it all over again my 30” tall 220” is to tall to reach the bottom. 24” tall is nice.

I agree with Roman. I had a 34" tall tank... it was HORRIBLE for corals. About every day I'd have a snail knock over a frag and had to separate corals on a regular basis. Had to worry about reaching so far into the tank that my deodorant would get in the tank... had to take my shirt off to reach the bottom of the tank. Also, they don't make grabbers long enough to be useful, so even if you use giant grabbers to get to the bottom of the tank you're still going to get your hands wet.

I sold that one and went to an 18" deep tank and I'm really happy with it.

The tall tank is gorgeous like crazy... but wow is it ever high maintenance. Also most really tall tanks are acrylic, and with stony corals and adding calcium, you're going to get coraline algae growing on the sides of the tank, and its a major pain in the bum to scrub, and scrub, and scrub... I like my glass. I can just scrape it with a razor and done.
