Im looking for a dip to use on SPS and LPS. Just curious what people use. Ive been using two fishies revive, but I think there may be better options out there.

Bayer is the way to go!

Yup. Bayer Advanced. I use it for everything. I think it's easier on corals than revive or coral rx, or hydrogen peroxide. I have dipped across in it and they had polop extension right out of the dip.
Only thing that sucks is its hard to see if anything that came off the corals cause it looks like milk. It's good stuff. Just make sure you rinse coral in clean saltwater after dipping before goes in tank.

Does Bayer do anything for algae? I use peroxide on zoas since they can handle it and it kills most algae.

It won't do much for algae, but I always used bayer for every coral. It works on the central nervous system which coral don't have - that's why it's so mild on coral but effective of pests. Most other dips have some irritation or do mild damage to corals while being not quite as effective on pests.

Thanks. Guess I'll be going to Bayer. Was looking for something to target algae mostly. Right now I've just been carefully squirting peroxide on the frag plug around the coral to kill off what ever is on it. After finally beating green hair and Dino I would like to keep them out of my tanks.

Can't blame you for that. if I was starting a commercial system I would be ultra paranoid of anything getting in the system. Excited to watch the progress!!

Algae. I dip zoas in peroxide and tank water for a couple minutes works great.
    Bayer does nothing for algae.

That's what I do too. Great results against algae and pests.

What's the ratio of water to peroxide you use?

I add a capful every few minutes until bubbles start to form on the polyps then i let them sit in there for 10 minutes.

I usually dip 50/50 2-3 minutes. Let it start bubbling for couple minutes the rinse. Polops usually stay closed for a day but algae usually gone within a day or 2.
