Help!! Spring Fest Sit Down

We need to have a sit down in regards to the Mixed Salt/Fresh Spring fest in order to commit to locking down the location. This meeting is a "townhall" style open forum to discuss issues as to why or why not. As well as move forward with locking in the location and begin the planning the Fest.

Looking at having the meeting on Camp Dodge in the Theater or a conference room depending on how many can make it. Would like this to be Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of this week. Looking at a start time anywhere between 6-8pm and ordering pizzas.

All are welcomed to attend. Attending will not be considered as volunteering for the fest or its planning. Just simply to be apart of this big decision as I beleave it's important to have everyone's input. This is ALL our club and it's members participation in discussions regarding future events is something I feel is very important. Hope to see everyone there. As always happy reefing!

How about Friday night or Saturday night? Also have you checked on the availability of the areas on camp Dodge and the rental rates?

 

I work on Camp Dodge. Have it covered. Lol. And no the opinions are really only Monday- Wednesday of this next week for a sit down. That may shift based on interest, but those that can't make it will be able to dial in.

 

Between work and family that won't be to do at all for the tight time constraints only being provided at this time.

Any of the above is just as good as any of the others for me. Kudos to you for taking initiative here B

 

This week is pretty open in the evening. I should be able to make any of the dates listed work.

 

@Bud have you passed these times on the the FW people? What works for them?

Also I would like to note from a prior conversation with Bud that when we all get together and meet, it is perfectly acceptable to come up with the "let's not do this at this time" answer.

 

The mute option is only available on there line to mute there background noise. If we mute on the main line they can't hear anything.

 

So since only 2 people have voted and it is now Monday I will concede the meeting for a weekend. I will be posting a new thread titled Spring Fest Sit Down Part 2. The new options will be posted on that thread to vote on. Will NOT be bumped again.
