Skimmer pump still shocking

    A month ago I was getting shocked everytime I would touch my so by process of elimination it was my sicce pump for my octopus skimmer. I contacted CoralVue and sent it in. They kept it for over 2 weeks and told me there was no issue and sent it back. Now after I've had it a week tonight I put my hand in my tank to clean it and shocked again. Again it's the same pump. It's the only thing that shocks when plugged in. Now what do I do? I'm pissed at the Octopus brand. Obviously the customer service wasn't good at all.

    is it under some kind of warranty still? I would say send it back again and push for a replacement pump this time. Or just save the hassle and buy a replacement pump yourself. They are usually not that expensive.

    Yes this pump the sicce 600 which only fits this skimmer is 150 plus. I've tried rios but air valve won't fit on front.

    Does this happen often? I ran my tank last time without a skimmer for 2 weeks will it be ok again for a week? My corals really opened up when I had no skimmer for 2 weeks.
