Advice? Skimmer Delay on Apex

I'd like to get a delay on my Apex so my skimmer doesn't turn back on for a few minutes after power comes back on (giving the sump level a chance to get back to normal). It's been a few years since I've done any new programming (other than modifying timers) on my Apex so I'm pretty rusty.

    Should this do the trick?
    Fallback OFF
    Set ON
    Defer 005:00 Then ON
    If FeedB 000 Then OFF
I know there are some fancier ways to do it based on the power status of the energy bar but I believe this should work as well. Any thoughts?

I had mine setup perfectly at one time, then lost all my programming and didn't redo it. This was pre fusion.

I know I had a defer in there, I think I also had a statement that if my return pump was off the skimmer was off as well.
I had to add an additional statement because IIRC when you cancel out a feed mode the skimmer would kick on immediately and I didn't want that.

Pulled this off R2R may have been how I did the feed mode. Not sure what the time constraint on the feed mode changes for sure.

    Fallback OFF
    Set ON
    If FeedA 015 Then OFF
If Outlet Return = OFF Then OFF
    Defer 005:00 Then ON

    Looks right.

The 000 after feed can be used to delay it there as well. 005, 010, 015, etc.

    Everything else is right

If you ever need more programming help you can also check the Neptune's Apex Support Forum. Lots of good helpful and programs on there.

Yes this or google and then I normally expand on the basic formula's to do what I want. Lighting schedules are generally the hardest thing I've ever programmed on Apex.

Hrmm... so the delay has been working if I turn on feed mode or if I manually turn the skimmer off via the apex and switch it back to auto. However, after a breaker tripped last night when I restored the power the skimmer turned on right away. Is there something that needs to be modified with my code to get the skimmer to delay after a power outage? I'm using:

    Fallback OFF
    Set ON
    Defer 005:00 Then ON
    If FeedB 000 Then OFF

Does the Defer need to come before the Set statement?

Could it be your SET ON? Most of the time with a power outage, I find everything turns right back to how it was

Maybe that was the another problem I was having with mine. Sounds familiar.

Found this thread and it seems more familiar to how I had it programed. Running a delay tied into the return pump and a power statement.
