Is there a way to remove ricordea from rock, without killing it? I'd like to move it to a new location in the tank. And...I don't want to just move the whole rock - I'd like to take the ricordea off of the rock.

I have always cut mine at the bottom underneath the ric and then used a piece of wedding vail and a rubber band to re-attach it to a rock or plug has always worked for me

I just cut under it with bone cutters taking some rock with it. Then glue the ric and piece of rock were you like. You need the bigger thick cutters for this though.

A screwdriver and a hammer would be pretty effective too.

Thanks for the tips....btw...where have you successfully placed rics? Do they do better in lower light / higher light / or, do they care?
