Refugium light

    Do you keep your refugium light on a schedule or on 24-7? Right now I have mine alternating with my display lights so when the displays turn of, the refugium turns on. Would it be better to have it on all day? I have chaetomorpha (spelling??) growing in my refugium. Does this macroalgae benefit with a light/dark circadian rhythm?

    in reading a few years back on this topic it was said that running it alternate would keep your ph swings down. ive also read that running 24/7 keeps calupra (not cheato) from going a sexual. i run 24/7 as i have a mix of cheato and calupra.
