I am asking for opinions and trial/error
experiences of pumps. I am going to redo my underbelly of my 125RR and want to
purchase a strong/silent/dependable pump that can push some water.

First off I think that I need to know
what would be an appropriate amount of GPH out of the pump to do the job.

    What would you recommend?

    Thanks
    for any help.

Internal or external? I use panworld external pumps. They are pretty quiet compared to others I've heard. I guess it just depends on the installation, doors on the stand to aid in reducing noise and so on..
I ran that panworld under my 180 when I had my 55 gal sump, and it was quiet. 10 feet from my bed, with no doors on the stand, and It didn't bother me when I would go to bed at night. I've since moved it to the other room because I couldn't fit the new sump under my tank. That pump is 1270 gph rated, but with 5 feet of head, it's pry only like 800 gallons or so.. 1 1/2" overflows with 3/4" return

Hey Todd, I'm running a 9.5 mag on my 125, I've got about 4' of head and it's working well, I probably could even go with a 12 mag, but I already had the 9.5 so I went the cheaper route.I know there are better pumps out their , but they bring a pretty good price as well.Good luck!John
