The new Hybrid Dart is sold....

Dolphin still available, and it now has some brand new unions and seals to go with it ($20 extra)

For those interested in cheaper Darts, I may have a spare AO smith motored one once I get a replacement here.....

What is the GPH on the Dolphin? Looking at making my own pool filter this summer and need a pump. Looks like it has 1" input and output or are they 2"?

    The Dolphin is.

I went ahead and got unions for it, and even hooked it up and ran it to verify the bearings are quiet and the shaft seal is fine. This pump is a monster. It was hooked up on a 200, I "T"ed the return line off and ran a 1" line back to the sump, in case it pushed more then the drains could handle. Even with that 1" line going back to the sump opened all the way it could still overflow the tank in about 30 seconds. The drains are (2) 2". A ball valve choking off the return about 1/2 way worked. Granted my drains don't meet the drop requirement for 2"ers to work right, this thing still moved a lot more water then I expected.... I had a dolphin 4700 that didn't seem to move near the water. Almost wondering if it doesn't have a different impeller in it......
