Pump recommendations

Hello all...looking for a replacement pump for a 100 gallon tank / 30 gallon sump mixed reef that I am setting up. Sub $200 range preferably closer to $100. Any ideas? How many turns per hour do I need to achieve?

I have a Reef octopus Varios 2 in like new condition that I can sell for 100 or a ecotech vectra m1 I could sell for 225 if interested. Both are real nice return pumps .

Dang!, If I were gonna get close to CR soon I'd jump on one of those!

 

I just got the varios 2 for my 90 gal. Love it, it’s silent. I think 10x turnover is recommended, and I don’t get that with this pump, but didn’t have 10x before either.

Did you end up getting a pump yet Mark? This is what I went with off of Amazon and I am happy with the purchase.

This is my first DC pump. After using for a few weeks, since you are in the market for a new pump, I can say you should look at some sort of DC pump as the controllable option is amazing!
