puffer question

I am thinking of adding a Valentini puffer fish to my existing reef tank. It says that they are considered a reef safe with caution. Has anybody had any experience with Valentini puffer fish in the past or present. Let me know what you guys think of this decision... thanks

 

Pretty cool little fish, but they do nip at other fish.

It really needs to be in an aggressive tank. It will nip at clowns, tangs, angels, etc.

 

I guess my bigger question is... will it nip on my coral?

 

probably not coral

But every shrimp, snail, crab, feather duster, etc will be gone soon.

 

I have a few crabs and snails one emerald crab a fire fish Some zoas and leathers, LPS and SPS and an anemone

 

YEP! just going to say, your inverts will be gone!
