   What kind of tank is it? If reef tank what kind of coral are you wanting? SPS are going to need more flow than an LPS or softie tank.
   
   I think the lowest recommended turnover rate for a tank is in the 20x range so all your flow should add up to minimum 1200. Id say if you're doing any coral you'd be better off jumping up around 40x turnover. High sps tank would go up even higher than that.
   
   
   I run 3 vortech MP40s in my 250 gallon tank, and I could use some more flow.
