posting time is wrong

    anyone else notice this?  The post time shows eastern time.  I can't figure out how to change it

    Most sites have a setting where you can specify your time zone, but most of us on here are on central time so I figured that would be the default
    still wrong

    Changed it to Pacific time and it had me back 3hrs.
    Eastern time will get you right on time,
    To Change:
    Click on your user name
    Click edit profile
    Scroll down to Time zone
    Select Eastern Time
    Click save

    Thanks! I noticed it when someone sent me a PM 2 minutes after I sent him one, yet his response made it sound like he thought I had sent the message an hour before.

    I knew there was a spot for it, kind of like the way to change your location below your username on your posts, it's in as equally a difficult place to find.

    Still, pretty messed up that you have to change to eastern time to see the right time on the posts. Chalk up another oddity.

    Does it adjust for daylight savings?  If not we may have to reset the time to Central this fall.
