I got my qt set up going. I have one fish in it. I'm going to monitor the nitrates. How often should I do a water change? I do a water change every Sunday and was going to do the same with the QT ? Should it be a small amount twice a week or a large once a week on the QT? Should I use water from my display tank or fresh mixed water? Thanks for the help. I plan on putting dr tims bacteria in too. My tank is a 33 long with an HOB. [IMG][IMG]

I hope that this is OK, but here is an awesome thread about the ins and outs of setting up a QT.

For qt I would use tank water, if its a hospital tank then you may wanna consider fresh made water.
