New tank build

    I'm currently doing a 210 gallon peninsula tank build and custom stand.

    Zero edge sump
    2-mp 40
    Reef Oct dc-5500 return pump
    Reef oct 10" regal 250int skimmer

    Still thinking on the lights

    Looks good, a 210 peninsula will be cool! I like your stand, did you weld it up or have someone do it for you?

    I had someone weld it for me n then got it powder coated

    Powder coated instead of painted, good way to go! Was it a friend of yours that made it or did you have a shop do it? I'm just curious because I'd like to have a metal stand made for my next project.

    A friend of mine that owns a body shop and then he took it somewhere to get powder coated

    Okay, appreciate it. I'm in CR and I know Rainbow paint and blasting can powder coat.

    There is also a place in Mt Vernon that does Powder Coat.

    I'd like to know where someone can get the steel frame made and powder coated. I know I would have times where I can drop this info to someone looking. Might have one made for myself also.

    Some fab shops may do it for you. Or find a friend with a welder.
    If I were doing it I could order the steel from work and weld it up, then send it out for powder at probably rainbow paint and blast here in CR. But that's easy for me because I could go through my work for it all.

    @blackx-runner@blackx-runner do you know if Storm Steel here in CR will weld up a stand?

    @Pufferman777@Pufferman777 going off the question of what corals you're planning, I saw you said you're still thinking on lights. What are you considering?

    @Drewster@Drewster their is a welding shop in iowa city called hawkeye welding they do anything you want welding wise at least and are pretty good guys.

    Update on the tank build. Got a new custom stand built. It's all stained and ready to come in the house tomorrow
