So just wanted to get some info.  Going to set a 75g up salt, just gonna do some live rock, prob no corals, if any just mushrooms or something.  Not gonna put a ton of light on it.  (May down the road).
Mainly just gonna do a fish only tank.
So my ? is, what would be a good stock for a 75gal?  Say 50-100lb of rock.  Just running a canister, heater, and a 2 bulb pc.  (Gonna upgrade down the road on light).
I like clowns, tangs, and such.  So just want something for the kids to enjoy.

I've always thought it would be cool to have lots of different types of damsels in a FOWLR tank

A few years ago I had similar plans with my first saltwater tank. Needless to say I now have a 250 gallon reef tank in the wall of my basement LOL.

As far as fish, clowns are always good. You want to stay with smaller fish. Not many tangs that would do well long term in just a 75. Anthias, and wrasse are always popular. Gobies, dwarf angelfish. Check out live aquaria and if you see a fish that may interest you check out the quick stats and compatibility charts and make sure it will work for your tank.

I would look around for a rough tank that holds water. you can find them all around. Then i or there is a couple people in DSM that can drill the tank for you and i think you would be much happier.

Not gonna mess with a sump. I know they are the way to go. But just gonna run HOB and canisters.
