I've got a Squamosa clam I'm looking to donate to a school in Iowa. I know I've seen a few systems go up in schools recently.

The clam's about 4". It has been doing great for the past 8 months or so I've had it and grown quite a bit. I just moved it a couple days ago so it's foot was slightly irritated, it seems to be doing well after the move. I'm getting rid of it because I don't have a big aquarium and want a higher end Maxima or Crocea clam, something that stands out. I think it would be great for a school to teach the kids.

I want to donate the clam, but the school does have to be able to meet the care requirements of the clam(higher lights, water quality, etc). If anyone knows what school would do the best with this clam please let me know. I'd like to bring it to Fall Fest to give to the care taker of the school's tank.

There are three school options. I will list them in the order that I think they would be qualified to care for it.

    Central Campus Marine Biology
    Boone High School Marine Biology
    Smouse School for Alternative Students

Yea central campus was the first one that came to mind, I just wanted to see what was all out there. I gave them about 10 frags about a year ago when I had a tank selling coral.

Anyone know any Central Campus students going to be there?

The teacher will be there along with students.
