Coming to spring fest from the qc area. I am planning on buying some live stock. What suggestions do you have for purchasing storing and traveling with it. a example, do I buy it, will suppliers hold it until end of show? I was planning on bringing a cooler to maintain temperature, but I am concerned that I do not know what I do not know. I would like any suggestion you have. At the end of the show, I will drop my son off at ISU then head straight home. Thanks ahead of time. Should I limit my purchase to coral only or is there a way to secure fish as well?

Most just bring a cooler. Some vendors will hold your purchases but be careful because sometimes people forget To goback and pick them up

    You should be fine.

Frags are shipped all over the country, in bags for almost a day at a time.

Keep the temp stable with a small cooler and you should be fine.

Yep, I've hauled corals back from distances much farther than that with no issue.

Unless they have bottled oxygen, 6-8 hours. If they do have O2, 24-36 hours

Thanks I hope to buy fish as well. I think my turn around time will be 4 hours as the most.
