I haven't owned THE ATI Hybrid but I have seen some in action. Very nice light system. The only thing I don't like is the led are all down the center. Pointing straight down. Not sure on the coverage are of just the led but you can get the same thing with the ATI Sunpower and reef Brite strip front and back. The only thing is less control ability. Like dimming.
But I wouldn't dim the t5 anyway. The led strip can be angle inward or directed wherever you want.

This is my Giesemann spectra but they mount right on an ATI also
