July BBQ-PARTY!!

    We will be having a BBQ-Party at my house (Central Des Moines) on 7-28-2012 at 4 PM. So mark your calendar. This will be sponsored by the club.     Trying to put a menu together. If you are thinking about coming please post a reply. Would like to get a rough estimate of how many. Thanks! Also, any ideas for the meat or other dishes would be great.

                            Meat and 2 sides will be provided.














    Bring what you want to drink and














    maybe another side or desert.








     We would like as many people to come as possible.


     We will be demoing the par meters








    that are available for your use.














    I will also show how to get rid of Aptasia.














    You can also see 3 lighting examples

    Potato salad and pasta salad. If we get enough people to attend and as long as




















    no one will be offend I will personally buy a keg.span>

    I'm getting a BRS order this week (probably Monday) and in it will be my Milwaukee Digital Salinity meter. Since this is good timing, I will be bringing it to the BBQ or giving it to Nick if I can't make it.

    So bring samples of your tank water and your refractometers or hydrometers (I'll also bring my $20 eBay refractometer and calibration fluid) and if there's time, we can do the Pepsi challenge on this thing, and you can see how accurate your equipment is or isn't.

    Also I wonder what the salinity of beer is. We may find out.
