yet another perfect example of why I've not paid my dues (expired in March) to be a member of this club. Seriously people, this stuff has to stop. Just a short couple of years ago this stuff was minimal and now it seems to be the norm. Not acceptable to me. Although alot of the fighting is in the "off topic" it has escalated to the point where I feel GIRS looks like a bunch of f****kg idiots and that's not what we are or am I living in the past?

I understand your frustration, but believe it or not, our forums are EXTREMELY tame compared to most. You get this many people together and you are always going to have a few trolls to deal with. It's the nature of the beast in this day and age.
Unfortunately some people, even those who may be perfectly nice in person, just have a hard time keeping their "online persona" in check... It's the whole "perceived anonymity" thing...
