hitch hiker Identification help

    what is this thing? I see it maybe once a month and its mainly at night. Sense this was the first time seeing it during the day I got a picture.  It looks like a snail but doesnt really have a shell just a small helmet thing on its head. its prob about 1" long and 1/2" wide. Never saw it bother anything just cleans the glass really well but im still interested as to what it is.  Anyone got any idea?

    I got me of those bad boys too. I often see him at night, releasing some goo into the water. Not sure what that may be either. Way cool tho

    Definitely looks like a stoma to me.. I had them all over in a 28g at one point but the peppermint shrimp went to town on them.
