Help with lighting

I have an odyseey light fixture with 3 double ended Halides.  I bought the fixture used and I think I am going to replace all 3 bulbs since i dont know how long they have been used etc.  Obviously reef geek is giving us an exceptional deal with the discounts for the group buy.  What would you reccomend for bulbs though.  Brand wise and spectrum etc...  I also have 4 power compacts in the fixture that are due to be replaced.

 

I run 250w pheonix 14k and love them!

 

+ 1 on 14k Phoenix.

 

If they are 150's or 250 DE the Phoenix 14k's are great. If its a 150 DE bulb then I also suggest the Iwaskai 50k

just looked up the 50k's, never even knew they existed! I have heard that the 150 pheonix's are not nearly as good as the 250 pheonix's for some reason though. Depending on which one you have, hope this helps.

 

I really wish Phoenix made 400w bulbs.  I've heard great things about their 250w 14k bulbs, but I'm pretty limited with what I can get for my 400w DE pendants.

 

50k Iwaskai is more like a 14k color wise.

Any suggestions for 400 watt bulbs? I run radiums, they look nice, but I would like to see a little better growth.
