Over on Edgewood Rd NW, if it's still open. Stopped there a couple times years ago.

Hmmm.... I guess it has been ten years since I was at CR Pets. IA City is Cedar Rapids-ish /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

Ya CR pets was pretty good, they were in an odd location though..

Pet's playhouse is pretty decent, except that Nick guy who works there, he always hassles me into buying the most expensive stuff! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/tongue.gif

The Petco across from lindale mall has to be the one petco in existence that actually has a fairly decent (clean and taken care of) saltwater section, 80% of the time..

Don't think our Petco in cr would be considered even close to good for saltwater...unless u like dealing with ich and other crap. Pets playhouse is the only decent spot here IMO. Coralville bay is very nice, and not too far from here.

Not a huge fan of pets playhouse anymore. The quality has been steadily going down. Petco isn't that great I don't think either. I would rather spend the extra time in the car and go to AC&C or to Davenport.

I have to kinda agree about pets playhouse, its definitely not what is used to be and I recently found out that mike blames girs for him not being able to sell corals anymore

Ya, I was by there recently and all the corals were gone, at least I know all the frags were. iirc... (I had just had 3 wisdom teeth out so was in an anesthesia fog)

Yeah that is true, after the coral guy left a while ago the their coral table went down hill. I guess I was more referring to the fish and dry goods. I've never had any issues with fish from there and they stock a lot of saltwater goods if u need them now and can't wait for the online route.
