Whos going?  iam taking the day off from work and going, plan on staying for most of the event, if anyone needs a ride i have room.

 

You're more than welcome to ride with us. It is the 3 of us going and we have some fish that we need to bring with so would prefer to take our vehicle for the air pump, etc. We also plan on staying for most of the event. If you would like to hitch a ride with us just let me know.

 

For that trip you wouldn't need an air pump. Just put the fish in tightly sealed containers and it will keep oxygen in the water. Sometimes with portable air pumps in small containers, it fluctuates the oxygen levels too severely and actually causes more harm than good. FYI...

Actually I think he is going to need some air.  He is a large tang, about 10 inches or so and he will be traveling in a cooler.  He will be in a cooler for probably 12 hours or so by the time he makes it to Des Moines.  I don't think there would be enough oxygen in the water to sustain him for that period of time.  Maybe I am wrong but would hate to suffocate him.
