email notifications have stopped.

    JB and Joe,


    As of 8-15-14 I am no longer getting email notifications from forums I am subscribed to. Which is all of them. Any ideas or suggestions? I checked my email spam settings and all is good. I am still getting PM notices.

    This seems to be related to AOL. It may have nothing to do with GIRS. AOL has a bad reputation for snagging e-mails before they even get to your whitelist filter.

    AOL treats forum related email particularly bad. Their techniques seem to change from time to time.
    I recommend using another email provider. Really, anything but AOL. Yahoo and hotmail are not without issues either, but at least they don't make emails go to la la land. Gmail is best, IMO.
