Advice? Doors for stand

Hey, this is an old pic of my stand. Nothing's changed though, I have no doors.. I was originally going to make red oak doors to match the stand, but I've started considering doing non-matching doors. I was thinking something like yellow pine, with a good amount of linseed oil to make a rich golden color. Possibly a frame and use frosted glass inserts, maybe red oak panel inserts.

I know it's ultimately up to what I like, but was just phishing for ideas. I live in a Victorian house, and I'm into old looking things.. so I'd like to stick with that.

 

find a couple of cool old signs and trim them in oak stained to match.
