Cut glass for sump

    Anyone know of a good place to get some glass cut for a sump? looking for a place that polishes the edge as well

    Try a glass shop; we used Barngrover's in Iowa City for ours. They rolled all the edges and it turned out fine. I know lehrjet had a problem with them; they took a long time for him.

    I have a glass cutter I got at the State Fair that works awesome, it leave the edges nice and smooth so they won't cut you, it's quite amazing. But as far as edge polishing goes, just get some emory cloth and it'll only take you a minute on each corner to take the sharp edge off if you have it done at Ace. I don't know about that area of the state, but True Value here is the place to go. The thickest stuff I could find anywhere was there, and it was 1/8" I think (double-strength is what they called it). Any larger and go to a glass shop. Or I also have a nice boneyard of old tanks to choose from if you want to cut up an old tank and make a new one.

    i also saw that glass/tile cutter at the state fair and the whole time i was thinking how great it would be for cutting baffles haha.
