clear pvc

    Hey all, I am working on a DIY skimmer and was wondering if there is anywhere in central or eastern iowa to buy clear pvc. I have found it online and its on the pricey side but then they hit you with the shipping and it makes it a bit unbarable. Any info would be great. thanks

    What about checking with a Plumbing Supply outfit in your area.
    For instance, here in the W'loo area there is Plumb Supply out on Airline Hwy.

    Are you looking for PVC or Acrylic? Regal Plastics would probably be able to get whatever you needed. They have an office in Des Moines and Evansdale.

    Clear PVC is very expensive there is a place here in des Moines that you can special order it

    I know it doesn't have to be clear to work but I would like it to be that way I can be sure I am getting enough bubbling action in the chamber. Thanks for the suggestions. I will check into them.
