Breaking down tank

Staring to get rid of everything in my tank. Multiple stuff for sale and all livestock has to go first. Tank is a 60 inch acrylic with stand and canopy. The sump is an ADHI and I'm not sure how many gallons I would guess it's between 30-40 gallons. I drove to Chicago 6 months ago and paid 1000. I'd like 700 for aquarium 150 for sump.


The light is an 8 bulb ATI with brand new T5 ATI bulbs last week. The bulbs were 200 and I have a receipt.. I'd like 400.


Skimmer is an SWC which I switched out my Octopus for. I think it's the 180 model. It works better than any skimmer I've ever had. I'd like 150.


I also have 2 MP 40's for 200 each. Not sure what model bought them from Andy and replaced one of the power strips.


I have an Ro unit with a TDS meter for 100. Filters are newer.


I'm gonna post the corals tomorrow as some of it's sold pending pickup. Also have 200-300 lbs of live rock.

I'm not sure Travis. We live in the country in BFE and last month our gas/electric bill was almost 900. We just had a second kid 3 months ago and it takes time. Also we don't have anyone to really watch over when we go out of town for a week at a time.

Ok for one I'm not going to sell to you. IDK if people know this but The Basement Bay is Adam and Eric. If and when I sell my stuff it will be to individuals who aren't going to flip my tank and make a profit. Also to be a so called business you need to be a sponser on GIRS. Also if your running a business you shouldn't be posting on this forum. Do you Clowns and Corals doing this. This is a club and not a place for you to make a living. That's how it's been the past 6 years.

 

Just to set the page correctly. The Basement Bag is ran by Eric and Eric only , we made a deal on your stuff for a grand total of 1500 for all the live rock and corals in your tank . That was 795 for me included for reef keeper for 250 . And 1000 for the rest of the live stock . My buddy thought about it and was going to give you 4000 for all of it . So like I said before he wanted a show tank
We drove 1.5 hrs one way and made a deal you were happy with then backed out hope this does not happen to the rest of you . We had a trailer ready to go get it so we could get it set up for him . Not sure I understand this one. You are selling your stuff which means you are accepting cash from someone for the items. So what should you care if that person puts in the work and can sell it down the road for a small profit? Uh...last time I checked that's basically the American way to put food on the table!

 

THANK YOU ! When we made the deal he was talking about how much of a good deal I was getting and how much I could make . Iddon't get it either. It was really mostly going in a show tank was going to cut off a mother colony off of each coral and display the rest . When was a complete setup sold before it was even posted . No then you tried changing it from the 795 to 550 and backing down from the original deeal! Thats when I said forget it. By the way do you have a tax stamp for your business? I have the right to change my mind. And you were wishy washy. To top it off you never had the cash when you came. You saaid maybe next week after you sold stuff out of your basement. I have all the texts you sent. Any more threats I go to the police.

 

And Bigkel he didn't have the cash. When he was here we agreed on 795 for stuff. The next day he wanted to change it to 550 and said he would have a hard time coming up with the money and then that's when I said forget it I'd sell it to someone else. I'd be more than welcomed to show all the texts. Bottom line iss he didn't have the money. I'm not gonna give my sstuff out without payment.

 

I am done with this s*#t I never threatened you . So call them u missed out on a big pay day over a price i posted on girs about a coral and sent me a txt all mad about it at like 10 last night that is why my amount changed and the money amount . Now the amount is nothing . Like i said have good luck with your SALE
